Our house

This humble house was built with the hands of a fishing boat owner who needed to see the sea in order to keep living. La Marisol was nothing more than the resting place for more than 25 years of a sea dog, where he could enjoy his family and his most intimate moments when the work gave him a break.

The most important thing is not the house itself, but the disconnection it provides to anyone who stays in it, accompanied by the sound of birds flying over the area, the breeze and the sea. You can enjoy magnificent views at the entrance to the Ría de Arousa, with the island of Ons at the front of your view and with the island of Sálvora on the starboard side as a faithful testimony of a privileged spot.

A space to disconnect

In addition to being able to go to the beaches of Area Secada or A Meixida, a few minutes' walk from the house, you can also sit in its upper back garden at sunset, with a nice cup of coffee, or whatever you want. You will be sheltered from the northeast wind, watching the boats arrive at one of the most important ports for inshore fishing in Europe or, simply, contemplating how the sailboats let themselves be carried away by the wind, heeled like a bucolic picture showing that life deserves to be fully lived in this place.

Where We Are

One of the great values of disconnecting at La Marisol is, without any doubt, understanding the surroundings where you will be staying. Ribeira is a small example of a multi-option destination, as is the case in Galicia, combining nature, hiking or long walks, landscape, gastronomy, culture, heritage, sailing tourism, seafaring culture and, of course, going to the beach when the weather allows it.
