In addition to a little common sense and intuition, as well as Google Maps, in Galicia, asking people is always an experience not to be missed.

– From the promenade of the house to Castiñeiras or to O Castro Beach (Aguiño)

Cuisine
Eating in Galicia is a religion and a sign of identity. It is difficult to find a place where you can eat badly. With numerous options including barbecues, snack bars and restaurants of different kinds, here are some recommendations:
– El Sanxo (A Pobra). Galician cuisine from the sea. Quality and good terrace for eating outside
– El Vilar (Palmeira). Humble, noisy inside, but very homely and abundant food. It has a terrace
– A de Rosa (A Pobra). Homemade Galician cuisine, reasonable price
– Ben Boa (Corrubedo). Special place and you choose the fish
– Or Matadoiro (Ribeira). A grillroom with something special. Very good meats
– Casa Fontao (Ribeira). A humble restaurant in Ribeira
– Restaurant in Ribeira’s Náutico (yacht club). Good cuisine, quality products and an exceptional dining room overlooking the Ría de Arousa
– A Falecho (Palmeira). Contemporary touches with quality Galician produce
It is absolutely advisable to book, and with several days in advance in most cases, especially in summer.
Sailing Tourism
Ribeira’s marina features the possibility of renting a boat, with or without a skipper, or private services that offer a tour of the Ría de Arousa, with circuits to the island of Sálvora or Ons, among other points. You can also book sailing lessons for young ones in the Náutico (yacht club), scuba diving, or rental and courses of paddle surfing, surfing or windsurfing, etc.
The managers of La Marisol have a 10-metre-long sailing boat with a skipper at your disposal. It is called Río Cabe and has a maximum capacity of 5 people. We offer you advantageous rental conditions in order to, in a half or full day, sail around the Ría de Arousa, anchor at a nearby beach where the wind shelters us and enjoy this privileged spot.
This option is suitable for all ages. For larger groups, we can rent other boats. Do not hesitate to contact us.
